Student Poster Session

Check back for location

Since 2002, the Society has been working collaboratively with the American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR) and the John A. Hartford Foundation on ensuring medical students participating in The John A. Hartford Foundation and AFAR Medical Student Geriatric Scholars Program have the opportunity to present their research at the AGS Annual Scientific Meeting. Since 1994, over 700 students have received this award encouraging them to consider a career in geriatrics.

The Student Poster Session at the AGS Annual Meeting provides a unique opportunity for students from all disciplines to present their research findings and network with each other, as well as with their mentors, geriatric academic program directors and other leading geriatrics health professionals and scientists.
