Tuberculosis
Noun

A highly infectious disease that especially affects the lungs but may spread to other areas of the body. Symptoms include fever, cough, difficulty in breathing, inflammatory infiltrations, formation of wartlike projections (tubercles), transfer of tissue into a soft cheeselike mass (caseation), An abnormal collection of fluid around the lungs and chest cavity (pleural effusion), and fibrosis.
