Complementary and Alternative Medicines - What to Ask?

Alternative therapies are defined as “an unrelated group of non-orthodox therapeutic practices that do not follow conventional biomedical explanations. The term alternative medicine implies that the therapy I being used in place of conventional treatment. The term complementary medicine refers to therapies used in conjunction with traditional treatment. The following are questions you can ask your health care provider if you are concerned about Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
