Selection Criteria

The Selection Committee will select participants on the basis of the following criteria:

• Eligibility as described above
• Quality and strength of the individual's career and leadership development plan.
• Strength of the Research program (determined by the NIA)
• Strength of Specialty and Geriatrics mentorship
• Commitment of departmental and institutional support
• Evidence of the strength of the specialty department and of the geriatrics division or department
• Evidence of broad professional development, i.e. membership in societies, leadership activities, etc.
