Deep Vein Thrombosis

A condition in which a clot forms inside a deep vein in the leg (or pelvis). There are sometimes no symptoms. Other times, there may be swelling or pain. Deep vein thrombosis is a potentially life threatening condition.
Delirium

A mental disturbance accompanied by confusion, disordered speech, and hallucinations.
Detoxify

To remove a poison and stop harmful effects by making the toxin harmless.
Diabetes Mellitis

Usually referred to as just diabetes, there are three main types: type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. Diabetes occurs when the body does not produce enough insulin or cannot use the insulin it produces. This results in high blood sugar in the blood and urine.
Dialysis

Either of two medical procedures to remove wastes or toxins from the blood and adjectiveust fluid and electrolyte imbalance.
Diastolic

Diastolic blood pressure shows the pressure during the time between heartbeats.
