What is Geriatrics? Professional Perspectives

“Geriatrics is Pediatrics For Wrinkly People”
To define the meaning of geriatrics care, the AGS and its Foundation for Health in Aging recently posted an interview with AGS member Chris Jones, MD on YouTube. Dr. Jones explains on camera what geriatrics and working in the field means to him. “It is taking care of people who are complex,” he says. “It’s pediatrics for wrinkly people.” Look for more interviews with geriatrics providers on the AGS YouTube channel, 123grandparents, in the coming weeks.
