The AGS Foundation for Health in Aging (FHA) seeks to develop or support research initiatives that further the mission of the Foundation and, in particular, help reduce disability and frailty, and improve the quality of life and health outcomes for all older adults.

Hartford Geriatrics Health Outcomes
Research Scholars Awards Program
The Outcomes award program supports physician-scientists committed to improving the health care of older adults during the critical transition from junior faculty to independent researcher.
T. Franklin Williams Research Scholars Award
This award is given to an academic geriatrician who is conducting research on older patients that has applicability to the care provided by sub-specialists of internal medicine.
FHA Student Researcher Fund
This fund provides students from all disciplines with funding to enable them to attend and participate in the AGS Annual meeting.
