During the coming years, more than ever, health care professionals will be needed who are trained
in geriatrics. Students with an interest in aging need to be supported, and so we are asking for
your help.
Every year more than 100 students from around the country have research abstracts accepted to the
Annual Meeting of the
American Geriatrics Society.
By attending the AGS Annual Meeting, students can experience first hand what the field of
geriatrics is all about. Presenting their research at the Annual Meeting serves to provide an
introduction to Geriatrics and affords an opportunity for leaders in health care for our aging
population to share their excitement about their careers with the next generation of providers.
