Dizziness is a general term used to describe different sensations. A person may feel lightheaded, unsteady, woozy, wobbly, faint, weak, or off balance. Dizziness is common in older adults.

Dizziness can lead to poor balance, falls, injuries, depression, and anxiety.

Dizziness can also be a sign of an underlying health condition that needs prompt evaluation and treatment.
