  While some things that affect our health are outside of our control, we do have the power to change some things that put us at risk for getting sick. Vaccinations, sometimes called shots, help protect us from certain illnesses.

Vaccines are the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from certain diseases or serious illness. It is especially important for older adults stay up to date with their vaccinations.
