Arrhythmias may have classic symptoms such as a sensation of racing or thumping in the chest, but often the symptoms may seem unrelated.

  • Shortness of breath
  • Weakness
  • Fatigue
  • Lightheadedness or dizziness
  • Fainting spells
  • Falls
  • Chest discomfort

Tachycardia

Arrhythmias that have a fast heart rate may cause:

  • A fluttering feeling in your chest
  • Shortness of breath
  • Lightheadedness or dizziness
  • Chest discomfort
